Artist’s Fun Fact: I saved a toy shark for several years knowing I would one day make a Great White. The 8” toy became my model for a 20’ shark. I used a scrap Chevy pickup frame for the base and then covered the steel frame with salvaged painted equipment door panels. I had door panels in all the natural colors for a Great White Shark. I encourage people to yell “SHARK!” when viewing this sculpture.
Shark!
At 20 feet in length, this great white shark demands attention. Comprised of a chevy pickup frame and recycled painted equipment door panels, this piece is a “huge” reminder of the beauty and power of the ocean and its most dangerous creatures.
