Artist Fun Fact: The title comes from the fact, that I couldn’t decide what to call this “Thing.” The real name is Similicaudipteryx, a feathered creature that lived in what is now China about 125 million years ago. “Thing” is proof that evolution happens entirely by chance.
Thing
This sculpture was inspired by a Similicaudipteryx . It sports feathers made of recycled blue and gray painted metal.
