Artist Fun Fact: These animals evolved thirty million years ago, and for obvious reasons have been given the common name "Hell Pig." They could weigh as much as two thousand pounds. But evolution can play tricks on us. "Hell Pig" is not a pig at all. He's more closely related to a hippo!
Wild Thing
This sculpture is a testament to the ferocity and tenacity of an ancient creature, (related to the hippo) and known as “Hell Pig.” Built from mixed metal and found objects including an assortment of rusted gears and tools, Wild Thing exudes a sense of raw power and determination.
