Artist’s Fun Fact: Who doesn’t like a beaver? This sculpture is all about texture. I thought I could make 3” masonry nails look like fur. I named the beaver at my wife’s expense. While we were walking in a nature area one day, she yelled out “BEAVER!” - it turned out to be an Irish Setter.
Since then, Beaver sold to Central Park Dentistry and they renamed him Bucky.
In 2022, Dr. Lala at Central Park Dentistry commissioned me to make a 26” toothbrush for Bucky. Now he can keep those two front teeth sparkling clean!

These sculpture was purchased and is on permanent display at Central Park Dentistry in Mason City, IA.
