Artist’s Fun Fact: Percy is a nearly six-foot tall pelican commissioned by The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center in Sioux City, IA as their youth club mascot.

I especially like the texture of the chain I used for his gullet. The feather in his hat has a large cut-glass diamond for  a little bling.

This sculpture was purchased by The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and is on permanent public display there.
